- Characteristics of the vineyards:on the Cascina Chignalungo estate (Municipality of Lessona), facing southeast to southwest, 290 meters above sea level, average 5000 vines per hectare
- Soil:coarse and heterometric gravelly-sandy fluvioglacial soils, deeply altered and partly loose, surmounted by loessic, silty-clayey summit levels. Acidic soils (pH 4.5-5.4) with orange, yellow and dark brown color. They are rich in minerals such as manganese and iron, which strongly affect the taste characteristics of the wine.
- Harvest:careful and strict manual harvesting of the grapes in the vineyard, in minute boxes of 7-9 kg capacity and subsequent further selection in the winery.
- Vinification:after careful sorting on a vibrating table,destemming and soft crushing takes place,dropping the grapes into temperature-controlled steel tanks. Start of spontaneous fermentation , and maceration on the skins for 7-10 days at a maximum controlled temperature below 28° celsius,repeating about twice a day punching down and pumping over.
- Aging:the wine is racked and matured in oval barrels with a capacity of 15 – 25 Hl (Swiss oak) for about 15 months, subsequent bottling, and new aging in the bottle.

- Serving temperature:18-20° C uncork the bottle 1-2 hours before its use
